Starting From Scratch

Need some input here: I have a small farm, plenty of room; I want to raise some chickens, ducks, or etc; what is the most productive fowl to raise? Some chickens or other fowl more rare than others? If so, seems that I would get a better price for the offspring; cost the same amount for feed!!

Muscovy ducks great moms,runner ducks are the best eggs layers, red star are very good layers, cochins, silkies and gamehens are good mothers. And you should get peafowl they are gorgous. but they are $ but sell 4 alot too. You could get turkeys. Oh and guineas there good for bugs and in the summer/spring they lay an egg a day and are good guard dogs.
