Starting incubation of button quail 1/20

keep it at 50-60% all the time be sure the air vents are open 1/4 during the first period then a lockdown they should be almost all open. the chicks need extra oxygen to hatch. watch your heat and humidity as it may need to be raised a bit after opening the vents. good luck and keep us posted!
 
You shouldn't handle them so much I candle my eggs at 5. Days then at 10 day to toss any bad eggs and at 15 days when they are on lockdown to see if they are ok... The more u handle them the less hatch rate your going to have...
So I candled the white egg again this morning... Only to see bad news... I beleive it's a quitter :(

first rime hatcher and have a homemade styrofoam incubator...BUT the incubator ACCIDENTALLY went up to 107.for about 5hours do you think the embryos have died...PLEASE HELP
 
i have candled them and some still look like they are alive(i can see little red dot and alot of veins coming out it is day 5 of incubation)does that mean they can survive
