Hi from Ga. yesterday on 1/10/2012 the frame for my new coop was installed. Over the next few months my wife and I will install 7 or 8 pens ( haven't decided which yet ) We take our time but plug along. I will post pics of our progress. From the side view each opening will be where a pen will be. There will be 4 5x5 pens on each side with a 5x10 run off the outside. That will leave 8' down the center to take care of the chickens out of the weather. Of course plans will change on a daily basis so will see what happens.

Hi from Ga. on 2/9 completed the grow pen 6x10. Just have to install the feeders and watering system.

Next we will be doing the turkey pen.

Hi from Ga. We have over a hundred at this time. By the time the new coop is done we will have 12 pens. We go thru 15 to 20 bags of feed a month. This hobby can get addictive.

i like the carport idea. i know where one is that i might be able to buy cheep. it would save me some time and ide have alot of added roof coverage for other things
