Keep going, using domestic breeds is going to take you a bit of time to get where you are trying to get. People and hatchery have bred out most of the natural instincts and it just takes a lot of selective breeding to make a survival flock. Not saying it can't be done but be patient is what I'm saying. Continue with your breeding projects but be very selective. Have a great day. B.Bones

Had our 1st chick hatch this morning, which is an Old English Game crossed with a Malay game. Fingers crossed we have another one or two in that clutch but I have another hen sitting on more OEG/Malay eggs plus a couple of OEG/Barnevelder which I doubt are fertile but we'll candle them Sunday.
