Starting to lay ....when ???

My Buff's should be getting ready to start laying. Any indicators as when this may begin ??

My buffs started squating and checking out the nest boxes about a week before they started laying.

Thanks for that. Mine are starting to fool around in the nest boxes and squatting. I hope this is the indicator. Someone also told me that their combs will get red when they get ready.......beats me. Thanx again.
