Have you dewormed your birds at all? From your description I am strongly suspecting parasites. Internal or external.

Or an overlooked wound...she could be in shock, or pain, and lost appetite.

I checked. Other than the empty crop and labored breathing, there isn't anything obviously wrong with her. Ugh, if only it were that easy of an issue

She just died. I don't know what I could have done, but I'm guessing not much. But before she passed she made a poop, and it has a sour smell and is very watery and clear. I'll post a picture, if anyone can tell me what she died from.

I don't see any worms. It just looks like she drank a ton of water and ate nothing. Any ideas?

Worms don't always show up in their stool, that's why fecal testing is so important. Is a necropsy an option? That would give you an answer and let you know if the rest of your flock is in danger.

I don't think my mother would be able to handle a necropsy. She's already insisting that we burry her.

Give her some water vitamins. It's a powder you add to her water. Keep us posted.
