State came out for NPIP testing...not good news

oh my...that totally stinks. I would be very sad if my little Lily had this happen to her. You will find another special chicken again.....

well it is good to know as it will effect any chicks and then they die in a couple days of being hatched

yrs ago we bought chicks from a hatchery and time and time again they died
finally the state of Missouri went in under the NPIP test and cleaned up their flocks and now it is safe to buy hatchery birds

so be glad there is NPIP testers to do the tests

I had to hand deliver 20 birds, mostly babies, to our state lab.
Trust me, I feel your pain.

However, Pullorum is no joke and you should feel blessed that they
caught it now.

CT hasn't had a documented case in 7 years.
