State Your Favorite Breed GAME

Hey Guys its GOOFAY
I have a fun game for ya'll!
Ok here's how It goes.
I say:
What's your favorite breed of chicken?
You say: Orpington
Then you ask another question, like,
How many chickens do you have? or Do you Like Orpingtons or Austrolorps?
Hope ya'll like this game.
(Btw my favorite Breed is Barnevelder)
I'll Start.
What's Your Favorite breed of chicken?

lol this is tough because I have so many favorite breeds! I am going to say silkie. I do like barnevelders because of their double lacing. Why do you like barnevelders?

cool I didn't know they were dutch. I like silkies for their personalities, they're fluffy, they go broody often, they sort of purr like a cat and even their "fur" is like a cat's. What do you think of silkies?

I don't know whos turn it is, but I will answer: I dont know much about silkies, I googled them and they are beautiful! I have one bantam she is a seabright and she is a great broody mama, she hatched 5 chickens for me last spring/summer.
Right now, my favorite breed of my flock are the 2 WCBP that my DH bought me from the feed store last spring. they are very curious and friendly and we call them the "Derby Ladies" because their top crest reminds us of the derby hats the ladies wear at the race track at the "Kentucky Derby".
Why do you you think about Australorp's?

I love polish too. I heard australorps are a friendly breed. I like that the bottom of their feet is yellow.

What do you think of cochins?

This is what I read about them:
"It is doubtful that any other single breed of chicken has inspired more people to keep poultry as a hobby or fancy. When the Cochin chicken made its debut outside of China it was met with astonishment, wonder, and awe. Cochins are gigantic with an abundance of feathers and calm disposition. Together with the Brahma chicken, the Cochin fueled what became known as “hen fever”

They are a beautiful bird. I wouldn't mind having a couple of them, now!!
My Austrlorp Rooster was given to me, because I lost my roo to neighbor dogs. He is very flighty, but very handsome and covers my hens well. I am getting some beautiful colors.

What do you think of Salmon Faverolle's?

The Barred Plymouth Rock is beautiful, dual purpose and lays year round. I especially like them because they are thought to have been similar to the Dorking Chicken, which is one of my favorite birds... a heritage breed, like your Barred Plymouth Rock.
What do you think about the Dorking Chicken?
