How long does it take for ducks to start laying eggs?
Our leghorns are one by one beginning to pop them out but we have had two huge ones... bigger than anything I've seen a chicken lay. I suspect that the ducks are getting in their and plopping them in the chook nesting boxes. I've seen them at times all the way up the ramp sitting next to the nests.
The ducks are 3 months old.... too early? Apparently they are common muscovies.
