Thanks for the invite Marie, sorry it took me so long to get here.
This is a great topic and I think we can all learn something from each other.

My broccoli was completely devoured last year, I mixed asparagus and cabbage the whole lot was eaten by caterpillarsIn NY, bugs don’t bother my herbs.
My squash & cabbage on the other hand…Constant battle!
I bought row cover last year. Actually got some zucchini’s and 2 cabbages with few holes. Was $19 on Amazon, well worth it and reusable! Just have to remove it once zucchini is flowering. My broccoli was completely devoured last year, I mixed asparagus and cabbage the whole lot was eaten by caterpillars![]()

Hi Marie. I’m not one to believe something works miracles for all kinds of stuff. However I did remember reading a long time ago that a lot commercially available vegetable wash is just GSE and water. That’s easy enough. Please take the rest of the article with a grain of salt.Hello Igor
Gosh that's an interesting article . My mother swore that eating grapefruit helped her lose weight, she would eat it before her meals
I have to look up GSE that's a new one on me we have so many different ways of pronouncing our names and descriptions of a lot of things, considering we are supposed too be speaking the same languageHi Marie. It’s like ACV on BYC, or colloidal silver in some cases. It works for a thing or two and has benefits, but people then tout it as a miracle cure and think it’s ok to use it for anything and everything and that’s not the case. I don’t use GSE for anything but washing produce.
I found out what GSE meansI have to look up GSE that's a new one on me we have so many different ways of pronouncing our names and descriptions of a lot of things, considering we are supposed too be speaking the same language![]()
