Staying in the nest box

I was thinking it may be the same as them sitting in a nest box all day and night, right?..... Any idea how long it takes to break them?

No, not the same, because you put them in a crate with a wire bottom for air circulation under that hot belly.

There have been several examples posted here on how long it takes to break them,
but it my depend on the individual bird, how long she's been setting, and the ambient air temps.
