Personally, I wouldn't necessarily want the wholesale account back. You're selling at a "break even", as I said earlier, which in business, is really a loss. No such thing as break even. 12 dozen eggs per week can only mean you have upwards of 40-50 birds or more, figuring you keep a dozen or two for yourself and family. That is a lot of work and a huge overhead.
Those eggs are absolutely worth $3.00+ to knowledgeable buyers. No doubt, the store re-sold your eggs for that much, keeping the difference in profit, which they should. It is time to build a retail network of customers and start to make $12-$18 a week off your 12 dozen in sales. That is $48-$72 profit a month. That's gonna help cover the feed bill. You can do it.
