I got Stella the white-crested black polish from a friend, Peep-chicken on here, and I think she's a silly chicken well worth sharing.

We originally got her so she could be one of our low-ranked hen (Candle)'s buddy, but Candle slid up the pecking order. When the two are together, Stella follows her around like a fly to sugar. It gets on Candle's nerves.
Stella sits at the bottom of the flock and always stood inside. We recently built her a run for herself so she can enjoy the fresh air. She has a huge white poof on her head that covers her eyes, causing her to run into stuff. She can't see well, and it makes her act silly and clueless.

Currently, Stella is the most productive egg-layer. She's the only hen that lays white eggs, and she lays one a day, every day. On the downside, she eats other hen's eggs.

I have a few pictures of her:

She's adorable!!! Love her hair-do! Hopefully, her and Candle will get along fine in a little bit. [IMG]

I get a kick out of those poofy heads. She's an egg eater, eh? Find you some roll-away nest boxes and that may help.
