Kathy, just say "NO" to laminate. NO NO NO ! Keep trying. Don't you have a Home Depot? They sell Silestone.

My hatch. Three out so far, one zipping, one looks like a quitter. All three Isbars quit in the last couple of days.

Super Cute !! Just hanging out and wondering what the day will bring !

Icelandics ??

Duh time for me, I forget what you have now besides Icelandics and Isbars.

The one on the left looks like a sumo wrestler ready to take on all comers. The enforcer !

Kathy I think Eva has the right advice.

This is very close to bait and switch.

Keep to your guns and keep your powder dry.

Mornin' Jake! No, they are a project I am working on. Or, perhaps abandoning. Michael had a thought as to how we could keep green grass growing in our runs. We have five coops with runs now, all occupied. If we cut down on breeds, we could leave two coops/runs empty at all times allowing the grass to regrow. We could move the birds around, always having green grass. We can water year round as the runs have automatic sprinklers. It would help tremendously with our erosion issues and our feed bills too.

Lots to consider.

If anyone checked out the contest on my blog guessing the breeds of brown egg layers I got, please note I had to change the prize. I was offering a $50 gift certificate to My Pet Chicken but found out this morning they don't have them due to computer issues. So I changed it to the winner's choice of a $50 card to Tractor Supply, Amazon, or Target.

I want to try wire over a planting frame and plant greens in the soil under the wire. The chickens are supposed to be able to get to the greens but not the roots.

I hope that works!

I thought about trying that too but we have so many birds!
