Stella's Social Club

Granddaughter Emily is visiting for a couple of days. We are taking Tucker to the vet this morning. He has a little drainage from his right eye. Hope it is something simple and easy to treat. I have a feeling the doctor is going to recommend a little diet and exercise too.

The two project girls I have left are laying huge green eggs. They are so pretty. The pretty turquoise color maybe was just temporary. I am just happy to be getting eggs!

Two Icelandics are laying, which means Lukka will go broody any day now. I actually hope she does. She can hatch out some Isbars for me! My BCM is back to laying as well. I don't think I'll be buying eggs again soon.
Those are NICE!

We are all of a sudden now getting 8-10 eggs a day! Woo hoo!
No more buying eggs for us either now!

I'm up to 4-5 eggs per day right now. None of my molting hens have started back up yet. Hopefully soon!

Beautiful green eggs Mary.
I have one HRIR Hen that dropped all of her feathers last week. She looks so funny and scruffy.

I noticed some very pretty feathers in her neck yesterday. This line is supposed to molt back looking like pullets.

I will let you know!

How did Tucker's vet visit go?

Glad others are starting to see eggs again. Ours have stopped laying, or are hiding them better.

Tucker is being treated for conjunctivitis. He did quite well on his visit. Hopefully ten days of antibiotic drops clears it up. He is resting now.

Buy eggs Jason. Then show them the carton and place an ax and a tree stump in the run. That should do it.
