Never heard of a bed runner. Hmmm.

I just candled the Isbars in my incubator. Eight of eighteen shipped eggs are developing.

Two out of six of my Isbar eggs are developing but some were put in a day late so maybe they'll show veining tomorrow. I am hoping for at least four more pullets and maybe a cockerel in case I need to replace gold ole Bjorn. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

just FYI, Mary, I've just set 16 isbar eggs in my incubator, from Indigo Ridge Farm in San Diego -- they just got started yesterday, but i'll let you know if they seem to be developing! (they were shipped, so all bets are off...)

I'm incubating eggs too, using my brand new Genesis, hatching eggs for a BYCer, some Belgian D'Anvers. Today was technically Day One because I set them last night. Starting with 22 eggs.

Yawn, going to bed early. Got up too early with a terrible thunderstorm raging so I'm crashing.
