Yes but thanks my friends for reminding me daily that chicks hatch, deer roam, and beauty is there for us to see.

Reminders of the beauty around us keep us centered or it does me; so many birds here now. Also saw a group of coopers hawks today. . Now that is a dangerous group to be around chickens.
Moms surgery is wed.

where is a pray icon when you need it.
Today is bright and sunny. 69 degrees. In the morning rainey 28, yikes can someone say another sleet storm!!! This should be our last shout of winter weather. The third wk of March usually .... starts a nice Spring warm up here.

Kathy, I have not checked the extension office yet. I will try to ask today about the incubator.

PS. I called the extension agency here and all the hatchers are in schools Kathy. None available for the public. So no hatching for me unless I get a broody till at the last of May or June.

Maretta is a mom again this morning. This was the only egg. It's out of one of my blue Rock hens, either Alice or Neela, didn't know which one.











Her last "chicks" are almost 28 weeks old.
