Aww more chicky cuteness!

Just got in from shoveling snow away from the electric fence in the horse pasture. The fence alert started blinking, and when my friend Denise and I walk back to check we found quite a bit of the middle strand of the fence under the snow ( the bottom strand, which is not hot, has been under snow for months). With some digging and shoveling, and lots of help from the pony Oreo, the fence works well again. Snow in the back is about 6 inches above my knees! Cured again from the dreaded hatching disease. Until the snow melts, anyway.

Made pizza again today! This one is artichoke Pancetta. It was sooooo good!

Mary, I am a very wealthy investor in Ohio. If you will Western Union me a large sum of money, I will gladly invest in your pizza company's expansion to Ohio. Thank You for your serious consideration. Looking forward to receiving your money so I may invest.

Added smile face so you know I am serious.

One of these days, I'm going to have to try an artichoke. Someone will have to show me what to do with it, though, or I'm flying blind. Neither of our families ever ate them growing up. And we never had pancetta, either. That's pretty much uncured bacon, right? BACON, we got! Haha.

Mike! You are funny!

Cyn - Pancetta is similar to bacon, but sliced very thin. This is very interesting on it:

As for artichoke, we like to steam it. Then pull off the leaves and dip the lower leaf portion in mayo and eat. When you get down to the center, cut around the spikey part and discard, leaving the bottom flesh intact. That is the heart of the artichoke and it is delicious!

Wow, I am getting soooo many investment opportunities this week! After careful consideration, I have determined that the poultry operation in Uganda holds the best promise for huge returns on my investment. I'm sorry Mike.
