We got away last week for a visit to BF's house in southern Florida - a great break from the snow, cold weather and angst. Made a few new friends down there, including this little guy -

A Snowy Egret. They are SO cute! Their little legs and feet look like painted rebar - unreal. They hang out and beg for shrimp and fish scraps at the cleaning station, along with the pelicans (you can see them in the background), Great Blue Herons, and Great Egrets.

I think it's also funny, the last we saw of you was on a snowmobile on your way to Mackinac Island, now you post a video from Florida, did you make a wrong turn?
