Stella's Social Club

No, I lied. Not ten. ELEVEN! These pictures are just a few minutes ago.
9 hens in nests and 2 on the floor under the droppings board-roost (one is Toni Turkey). One hen is missing from the picture, but you see her eggs. I took her out while I was candling. I tossed A BUNCH of nonfertile eggs.

Oh, but that's not all of my broodies. I have 2 more - one Wheaten Ameraucana and one Barred Rock. That makes a total of 13.

Deb, I finally got the post up about the cream cheese danish from Crescents. I was unhappy with the photos and didn't want to post it until I made them again and took better pics. That hasn't happened but I posted it anyway.

Enter my contest if you're over there! The cook book is awesome!

Oh, good grief! I haven't ever had a Delaware go broody, though mine came from broody lines. That's okay. My Belgian D'Anvers and BR hen Dottie do enough of that already.

Dottie's are 2 weeks old now. Only two are actually hers.

Sweet, look at their little win feathers!

Mary,
On your give-away on your website.....
