Sounds like everyone had a good time, won a little, ate like a king and what's a little lack of sleep when your in Reno!! It even sounds like Tucker may of had fun meeting his new buddies.
Sweety and Pearl are glad to hear Jacks foot is doing better. They said to tell Diana not to worry, they could be Jacks mother. When we had to wrap Sweety's foot, before we got the booty, we had to make sure the cotton was wrapped around the hoof before we put the tape on but the tape still got on the hair at the top.

Tucker looks like he is having a great time with his new friends.

The trick with bandaging feet is definitely to keep the tape down on the hoof and not on the hair or tender coronary band tissue.

Sounds like you guys had a great time, except for the guerrilla warfare. Dinner sounds oh so delicious. I hope Emily realizes that most of the time, you leave with less money than you arrived with.

Glad Jack is feeling better and was nice enough to let you change his bandage.

Sorry Diva. Before she got home today, her mother probably "borrowed" it and she'll never see it again. Sadly, that is the truth. I am more than a little disappointed with my daughter right now and I am heartsick. It is just the way it is.

But my anger got me moving and I got some work done outside that I had been putting off.

Mary, have you tried Animalintex poultice pads for Jacks abscess? I think you can get them from Tractor Supply as well as an equine vet. I work on a large Thoroughbred breeding farm - we get lots of hoof abscesses and that's what the guys use. Usually held in place with vet wrap. I even use this method on bumblefoot in my chickens.
