It's supposed to be SNOWING HERE at around 2:00 am! Not sure I will be up checking for snow to take pictures.... elevation 1600', Lake Elsinore, CA

My Katee will stand in the snow  and sleep.... in the morning she will have her whole back covvered in a layer of snow.

I was told by some midwest mentors that as long as the snow or frost isnt melted you horse is fine...  If you have one horse out there wehre the snow is melted then that one is probably running a temperature.

it Takes very low temps for a very long duration to cause frost bite on Equid ears...

Wow that's a low elevation for snow. I'm at 1850 feet but nothing here but high winds and bitter cold.
