For once I have something to share:

Lingonberry-white chocolate cheesecake.

Beautiful! I've never had a ligonberry, but I like every berry I have ever had. Looks delicious!

Cheesecake is in the air.........I just finished a Chocolate Cheeseake with Godiva Liqueur for tomorrow night. We are having some friends over.

Cranberries are probably the closest thing you can find on that side of the pond. Quite similar in taste, very sour.

Actually, lingonberry jam and juice is something you can find easily, they sell it at Ikea. Other stores with Scandinavian products might carry frozen lingonberries too.

My Katee will stand in the snow and sleep.... in the morning she will have her whole back covvered in a layer of snow.

I was told by some midwest mentors that as long as the snow or frost isnt melted you horse is fine... If you have one horse out there wehre the snow is melted then that one is probably running a temperature.

it Takes very low temps for a very long duration to cause frost bite on Equid ears...

Thank you all for compliments on my New Year's Avatar but, the credit goes to CYNTHIA who totally designed and surprised me with it. It had to go up early because - Xmas may have 12 days but, New Years does not! I will hate to go back to frumpy Diva after the holidays pass.

Felix your cheesecake is amazing. I know how labor intensive it was - and it came out perfect. I am sure I would eat it, though might pull out and discard the lingon berries because you said they are TART
