Here's a contribution to help move the mole off the pictures. This is Barnie Green as she starts her 12th year of life! Still going strong, although no eggs for years. I got her at 7 weeks old off the old Eggbid site, in Feb, 2003. The Buff Ameraucana & Silkie roo are 8. I hatched them in 2007. They all live in the barn, designated the "old Chickens Home".

Here is one of my 7 mo. old Bielefelders posing on the flowerpot. I just love this breed - they are the sweetest - big, fluffy and the friendliest chickens ever. They just started laying lovely dark brown eggs



Regular Barred Rock egg, Golden Campine egg, a Bielefelder first effort and a bantam egg.

Hottest thing I ever ate! Jalapeño poppers with yogurt, cheddar and bacon. OMG, thought I was going to die! I ate all three of these.

Mary , just looking at those peppers/poppers whatever, is giving me a major case of heartburn.
