Yes, it is bothersome when they do that. One of our cats left me a dead mouse by the fire place...It scared me pretty badly too. My Youngest DD still laughs at me for shrieking when I saw it while reaching for my work pack.

Michael came downstairs from his sick bed to remove it for me.

He was grossed out by the creep paddle like front feet for digging and the fact that they have no legs. So gross!
