I looked them up, it says they are the size of a quarter chicken!

The black girl laid an egg on the way home. It takes five serama eggs to equal a large chicken egg!

I bought my birds from the judge of the Serama table top competition. She is downsizing to breed the micros and is selling off some of her larger birds. The black girl was best of show in Manteca and four other shows! Another serama judge said I have have great stock to start off with. So I am happy. I love that you can put them on a table and they just stand there without leaving. Hopefully I'll be able to train mine that well!

One of my Belgian D'Anver hens lays an egg that small. It's amazing that a chick could even develop then get out of it. It's not much bigger than a robin's egg. But, then, Carly is a tiny bird herself though she's about 4 years old now.

That's what Mary gets for leaving her car doors unlocked. My friend has two pet quality seramas- they may be tiny but they kick butt. They go broody on air, and take over the dog bed. He is afraid of them.
