Forecaster say an "atmospheric river" is barreling towards us! The sky is gray and every few minutes the wind howls and the pines start swaying. Just a few big drops of rain have fallen as of yet. I hope this doesn't turn out like the blizzard that didn't happen. We need the rain!

I have enjoyed this mild winter weather this year (so far).
Low 50s today. 60s the next couple days. Hard to believe we were in the 70s (maybe 80) in January! In Missouri??!!! WOW.

Forecasting not the greatest lately. Our "blizzard" turned out to be about 3 inches of snow! Then last Monday we were supposed to get "freezing rain" and we got a foot and a half of snow! DH got the snow blower back together finally - backwards!

Yesterday he got it together right way round. Today we woke up to -7* and are expecting 19 more inches this weekend. Yuk. The "ice dams" are forming on the roof and we have icicles as big around as tree trunks - I just hope it doesn't start to leak. I'm done with winter!

That was me last year - got heat tapes up this year, and still have to repair the living room ceiling.
