Stella's Social Club

I've never seen Greylag geese before - beautiful.

I have a healthy respect for geese since a Canadian Goose bit me on the knee- and BOY, did that turn into a 'goose egg.' I wonder if I could have 'hatched" it.' I never realized something without teeth could make such am impact. OW!!

Cute kid and dog pics and Kathy with geese! Wow, good morning.

We have a very interested buyer for the house. They will "probably make and offer in the next 10-14 days" after they return from vacation. They have seen the house twice now. Both are scientific consultants who work from home. They analyze every little thing and do not make decisions without thorough investigation. They have adopted a little girl from China and their world now revolves around her. They want to get her into 4H and have asked if the animals could stay with the home. They all walked the pastures with Jack and Diana in tow. They love the house and the history and its location next to the Christian school.

I am hopeful for an offer so we can move on to whatever awaits us. I have a very open mind to how the next chapter of my life plays out. We went on drive-bys all afternoon and evening yesterday and saw some really crazy things. I could swear a couple of times I heard the banjos from Deliverance playing in the distance! We went to one place listed as a "grower's dream home!" OMG was it scary. We were peeking through windows to the sound of gunfire!

We have found a couple of things we are interested in, but the goal is still to bank some cash so we are trying to get our expectations lowered to accomplish that. It will work out. May end up in town or in the country, who knows?

for you! It sounds very promising.

Beautiful animals, Rinda! I need to replace my darn dog - who, apparently, is friends with foxes.

Good luck, Mary! I hope they buy your house and offer full asking price!
Uh oh, bad Tyson.

Quote: Aussies are great dogs. I almost ended up with one, but my friend offered me my German Shepherd first.

BTW Kathy, that picture of the candy is so vivid, I swear I can practically inhale them Thanks so much. I trust YOU. I know you wouldn't sneak kale or some gosh awful thing under the chocolate like some "other" person might.

I swear, last bee picture for a while. They are all over my orange blossoms. This is the only decent shot out of about 30.
Kelly,
I really really like this photo! Are you eating lots of honey? I have a friend who eats no sugar at all. They buy honey by the 5 gallon buckets and use that.

Kathy take one of Rinda's puppies - PUL-lease !! then I can enjoy it vicariously through you. Take Turbo. If not take a different one

I would LOVE to do that, too! Maybe I could make a quick trip to CA to get one!

Of course I wouldn't do that! Mainly because those green things (kale, etc) are my favorites and I don't share those!

Thank you. Eating some, yes. I haven't done too much cooking with honey. I do have a granola bar recipe that uses honey, and a homemade honey mustard salad dressing. You lose the benefits of honey when it's heated. It's delicious raw, all by itself.

I would LOVE to do that, too! Maybe I could make a quick trip to CA to get one!
Except Rinda is in OK.

And I knew that, too! It would be so easy for me to run over to see her! Not far at all ! :)

By the way . . . . how is the water situation in California? Are they putting demands on you for water usage?

Yes, lots of new ones just yesterday.

We are in a tight place!

The water situation right now is okay.........but we have absolutely no snow melt at all to add to the reservoirs. So overall, the outlook isn't so good going into summer. There aren't any restrictions on me (yet), as we are on a well. But we conserve our water anyway and only water the fruit trees and garden plus household use. We don't have any landscaping or lawn to water.
