I used to have a recipe for a peppered rye batter bread that was such good sandwich bread, but over the years in one of my many moves it got lost

It must be rye bread week. I made light rye bread yesterday.

I can't find light rye flour anywhere including online. Everyone is sold out. Must be everyone is making rye!

Ok, progress has been made on trying to buy the house. Went over the realtor's head directly to the broker. He called the sellers who didn't even know we submitted an offer.

This has been a crazy week of shenanigans. So, the broker is getting the offer to the sellers who will sign asap and we should have it by morning. They changed the status of the house to "pending" so we would know they are serious. The broker has taken over the deal from the seller's agent. She is off the case, thank goodness!

I am meeting my agent at the house in the morning because she hasn't even seen it yet! Michael and I went in through an open sliding glass door to see it.

We had a flurry of activity on our house yesterday with hints of an offer coming in that never materialized. I spent all day answering questions and scanning and emailing documents that they requested. I guess most people don't move as fast as I do. I don't mean in a physical sense, because that would be a foolish lie, but in a git-er-done sense.

I am off to zone out on the Art of Stir Frying on Craftsy. There may or may not be a Xanax involved.

Mary, close but no cigar. I didn't od on Rocky road. It was HD Tres Leches Brigideiro- their artisan blend. That and cutting branches off many Buckthorn shrubs and trees.
I never remember the garden gloves, or the safety glasses. I got so worn out I just left piles of branches all over the yard. Now all I need is to levitate them to the side of the street for the village shredder - that won't come till middle of May.
