Tucker did pretty well even without his thundershirt. We watched the storm from the front porch. he squeezed in on the white bench between me and Emily. he loves Emily.

That storm was crazy! We got over 2 inches of rain in about 30 minutes. I've never seen hail that large here before. I sat on my covered front porch and watched it.

I tracked it on accuweather--It was showing up pink, which is a lot of moisture coming dwon!

There might be more today. Yesterdays split at Sacramento and missed Woodland.

I'm glad to hear you guys are getting some much needed rain.

We picked up our 1/2 hog today. Now I get to learn to cure ham and bacon.

Back from getting another visit inside the "new" house. A couple of disturbing things. The neighbor's dog was running loose and charged onto the property snarling and barking at me Emily and Tucker. The owners were yelling at it but it didn't seem to be deterred. I had to scoop Tucker up and put him in the car for safety. Finally the dog left. And another neighbor had music blaring. Yay, more country rednecks!

The bad news for the neighbor with the dog is that I can fence my property off and lock the gates to keep his dog off my property. That will not allow him to use the easement he has through my driveway to get to his house. He will have to use the secondary gravel road which is not as nice. Oh well, secure your animals! I am definitely going to check and make sure I can do that if his dog is at large.

Otherwise, the tiny living room seemed a bit bigger this time! There is a lot of work to be done on the inside but I think it will be a nice little cozy home for us.
