Raining here. . . . I like to sit quietly, and read, while listening to the rain. Well, that's what I like to do. It ain't happenin' here though!

Mike said when Tyson (our dog) goes, we are not getting another one. No more pets, he says. Most chickens will be gone by winter, too. That will free us up, we hope.

I still have a lot of letting go to do before life is really simplified. I envy your rain. Maybe the boys will take a nap and you can sit and listen to the rain. Yeah, right!

Fence post driller called at 8:00 a.m. to say he is on his way. Lives no more than 18 miles away. Three hours later no sign of him! Tractor guys are flakes, flakes, flakes!

Update: He just called to say his employee put water in the diesel fuel tank so he is having to drain it and refill several times to get it running.

I am not a real ice cream fan Diva. I know...the horror, the horror. But, have you tried the new Dreyer's frozen custard? OMG, now that's good eats!

Want very much to try the custard I see it comes in Malt flavor - whoopee. But wow about 4.99, hoping coupons pop up somewhere.
