I would like to have a Cat but, my brother is super allergic to them!

Monday night for family night we started some homemade rock candy. Root beer, peach, and raspberry flavors.



This was yesterday- WOW I'm impressed! They were supposed to take 3 weeks but honestly I think they will be done by Sunday.

Why wouldn't he - they left him and went to Alaska!  Poor kitty.  Anybody looking after him?  (Besides you  -  )

He sleeps in the garage. they leave it partially open during the day so he can come and go. When they leave they have friends and neighbors open the door in the morning and lock him in and feed him at night. I usually holler down and tell them he's at our house. they walk towards our house and he runs down to his house. he is very well cared for.

Homemade rock candy! Wow, never saw that before.

It's just 3:1 boiled sugar water, with flavoring and coloring added. Super easy!

I can remember making rock candy as a kid - hard to believe I can still remember something that happened so long ago!
