Now this is something I have NEVER heard of before

You notice it is marked down - doesn't work and you have to keep re-applying after rain etc. I've seen it in Home Depot and Menards. If it worked, NO ONE would be upset about snakes, and I would have bought out remaining stock.

. Kinda like all the diet aids that don't work - I can show you before pictures but, not after, because they look the same.

They also sell dog & cat repellents - go ahead ask me how well that works - NOT! I won't even discuss deer, squirrel, rabbit repellents. Probably all the same stuff with different labeled containers.

Jeeze, nothing like logging on to the Stella thread and see a photo in the upper right corner for Snake-B-Gone! I was afraid to surf to the most recent posts for fear that I would see a snake! I can squint and the snake on the bottle is blurry. Whew! Close call.

I made a delicious tomato, basil cheese pie today but the photos are horrible. Oh well, the pie is good!

Michael is cooking dinner for us. BBQ chicken and fresh corn on the cobb. Yumm.

Mary, you mean you guys gets good corn on the cob? Are they locally grown? You don't have water.

Here we either get bloated kernels that look close to head smut, or shriveled up, undeveloped corn. Either we get flooding rains or droughts at the wrong time . Local corn, Florida corn - everything looks bad. I am a corn lover and it pains me to wait for the new season and find another year of mostly crummy corn.

I am also a "KIKU" apple lover - I googled and found out they are more a winter offering.. Best apples I ever ate and pricey but, worth it.

Snake B-Gone? In early August we pulled a "baby" rattlesnake out of our swimming pool.

I didn't kill it.

I walked it up into the preserve and let it go.

I actually like snakes, but will refrain from posting pictures of some of the local residents out of compassion for the OP.

Our corn has been fabulous this year, wish it lasted for longer but the trees are changing and fall is here - time to move on to squash.
