Kitchen, dining, and living room paint. . . . .

I think I am going to paint this color - it is called "Mink," (It is gray) by Sherwin Williams. I think I will need a trim color that is not quite white, an off-white. I dunno. . . . will it be too dark? I would like to have one small wall in RED! It is difficult to decide on what shade though.

Check out those FABULOUS faux-wood ceramic tile floors too, in a smokey gray color... I am really liking them!

Love that wall color! I go dark in my rooms, but I have a lot of windows. If you end up not liking it, you can always change it. My dining room is maroon with a purple hue. It really freaked me out when I was painting it on, because it looked eggplant color. But I finished the room and it dried. I love it.

I like the darker grey. You could go with an off-white, but probably will look better if you do not go too dark - and not in the cream range either.

My next carpet is going to match the color of my pet's (at the time) fur.

I saw a paint chips card that had the correct shade of white to use with that particular shade of gray. I am relying on that to be correct. I am hopeful.

My friends painted their kitchen walls orange. One wall is a rather eye-splitting bright orange; the other 3 are a really lovely pale cantaloupe. Still can't decide if I like it or not (well maybe not the bright orange), but you sure notice it every time you walk in.

That's the way to go Kathy. Found that out the hard way with the white trim clashing with the cabinets.

This is the extent of my fall decorations this year- breaking out the Sharpies and letting the kids each decorate a mini pumpkin. ;) Gosh it's been busy. We've ditched, run, and covered an electric line to the shed, chicken yard, and brooder house over the last week. And a water line out to the goat pasture. Trying to streamline things now so winter will go smoothly and we will be set up for spring chick rush.

That looks like great pantry shelving Kathy! I have used some similar that I bought at Lowes. You should be able to get rid of the rust with a little scrubbing followed by Rustoleum paint. We have been working to get the garage items up off the floor and onto shelving. Emily is a big help to me. Wee are organizing the heck out of things out there! I could use those shelves right now!
