Now I have to watch it again.There is a scene in City Slickers where Billy Crystal's character aids a beef heifer with a difficult calving - and out popped a Jersey calf! Cracked me right up.
Beef cattle and dairy cattle are different. Dairy cows are thin, not suitable for eating. Beef cattle have meat on them. One would not have offspring of the other, unless crossbreds. Similar to a meat goat birthing a milking goat.OK, so beef means male? So it couldn't have a calf? I googled it and I still don't get it!![]()
