Mom was doing well post surgery until last night but it appears her pain meds or anesthesia have whacked her out. She does not believe she is in the hospital, thinks the nurses are imposters, that she is being held to keep her quiet, and that I am brainwashed

So sorry, 1muttsfan. My mother went through this same reaction (years ago) and I know what you are going through. Stay strong.

Oh no muttsfan. Saw a lot of that in the hospital. Hopefully they are changing her medication although options are limited, especially if insurance is involved! Make sure they keep her safe until she is herself again.

She is not actually on anything but antibiotics since yesterday afternoon. Hope this all washes out, she was much better yesterday.

She slept most of the day and is much improved, no longer thinks the nurses are conspiring to keep her quiet. Whew.

Rainy day cooking today. Cranberry Orange relish and cranberry orange scones. I sense an obsession coming on.

Huge storm here with rain, thunder, lightning and hail. Tucker his under my bed until I found his Thunder Shirt!

Calm after the storm. It cleared out all the fog and we can really see the Sacramento skyline now.
