Did I ever tell you how much I hate winter - specifically, freezing water.

I hate carrying buckets of water because the hose is frozen. I unhooked it and brought it into the garage now. I am hoping it will be thawed in the morning, and I can use it.

Where I live I have to drive up to the Sierras to be in the cold. Then I get into the car and drive home where the weatherman last week said "It is going to be noticeably cold this morning at 45 degrees..."

My Grandfather moved here in the 20s to get away from the Chicago winters...I am so happy he did that!

I'm right there with you Kathy!! I hate cold... no ice in the barn yet.. never froze inside last year...

but the goat & pigs had solid ice last night...

I can't wait until we get our house built out there, have a well, electricity etc!!! I'll be soooo spoiled!

lol that is ok. I got a giant free fish tank. does not hold water but holds chickens pretty good lol.
