Nice job Kelly! I'll bet it reeked in there when you were doing the epoxy! I have painted several garage floors and yikes, it was bad.

Not an ideal location for a pass-through in the wintertime. Unless you're the cook.

Can't wait to see how the cabinets come out. I like the wall color with the white too.

The epoxy was awful, even with a respirator.

Painted an end table yesterday. Sanded it down and repainted it again today, twice. Still want me to paint those cabinets, Kelly?

With how nice they come out in the end, yep!

Ok people, y'all lived through the horror of my appliance purchases for the remodel. 5 appliances = > $10.000.00.

1. Oven had to be reset to thirty degrees lower because of burning everything!

2. Refrigerator decided it was actually a freezer last week. Freezing EVERYTHING now. Calling for repair tomorrow.

3. Last night the dishwasher rinsed a full load of dishes and then just up and died. calling for repair tomorrow, had to remove everything and wash by hand. Michael used a turkey blaster to remove all the yucky water so it doesn't start stinking!

4.) On the minor side, steamer couldn't cook tamales in THREE hours last night and the rice cooker went through the entire cycle and the rice was still crunchy.

Maybe a higher power is trying to tell me that I was meant to live off the grid?

Mary I think it's telling you that the top echelon products are not worth the $$$. The regular, ordinary appliances that are available for the masses- do their job year in, year out.

Not anymore Diva. Appliances are poorly made in all price ranges. Old ones work, new ones are "disposable." Brother-in-law knows his stuff. Repair guys getting rich off lousy appliances with short warranties. I just bought a three year extended warranty for my oven. I bought extended on all the others at the time I purchased them.

I don't know about new, everything in the house is old, old, including me. My son bought top of the line appliances and from the start, he had the repair guys out often. My sister did too.
