Stella's Social Club

Awwwww. The photos are adorable, and I could not tell it was cold.

Look at my littlest ones red cheeks and nose! And she was on someone's lap in many of the shots to help her stay warm! I finally walked back up to the house and got their coats so they could wear them between shots.

Beautiful view Mike! Driving is, well, interesting. Most of the time he does great. But every once in a while I still have to grab the steering wheel. He is fine to and from school, freeway and traffic driving is where he needs more practice. There is no screwing off in CA traffic!

Mary, what did you cook for St. Patrick's Day? I did a brisket, but nothing fancy otherwise. I'm thinking of making Irish Soda Bread tomorrow. (even though my youngest has been asking for hamburgers) You are too busy with furniture to talk to me......I tried to call you a couple of times this morning.

I just did the driving thing with my 17 yr old son. He got his license at the end of January. Yippee! If you haven't seen these, the videos put out by the dmv really helped us focus in on which skills to practice for the test. My son was a lot more confident after watching them. Good luck!

Rinda the kiddo photos are really nice. I love the backlighting. Your older girl's crossed legs look really sweet and that puppy whisperer's smile is magic. I am assuming the little guy without the teeth is in first grade? aLways loved the group photo of the first graders! Not a front tooth in the crowd!

Thanks!

He's actually in Kindergarten, but the oldest in his class (Sept 3 birthday, cutoff is Sept 1). He was missing all four front teeth at Christmas!

Ooh, and look my exclamation point is working again!

Sunrise yesterday over Mackinac Island - woke up at my usual 6:30 on the only day I get to sleep in, so went down to the shore to check out the view. You can just see the thin film of ice that formed overnight around the base of the pylons. It was 16 degrees out!
