Stella's Social Club

When we were at the zoo a couple weeks ago, there were free ranging guineas and peacocks - must have been mating season both groups were screeching loudly for quite a long time - I guess waiting for females to come running to them. When we were leaving, same birds waiting and no dates. Know what that is like.

Thanks! Someone is coming to the shop to look at the hutch today. I really love that one and debated about bringing it home and putting the one I have now in the shop. This retail work is HARD!

On a sadder note, my neighbor's dog will not stay off my property. I had to run her off yesterday and between the time I left the store this morning and Michael replaced me, she came back and dug under the boulders I placed on top of Judy and dug her up again! Now Tucker won't stay away from the new dirt pile with the remains. I am done. Time for Animal Control to get involved. If my neighbors want their animals to have use of my property, then they are going to have to pay for it. And why can't my pet rest in peace? I could understand if it was wild animals, but it isn't. The security video shows NOTHING but moths, but the neighbor's dog has been caught in the act three times.

UPDATE: Finally saw the neighbor out in the yard. I motioned for him to come over to the fence and I told him about the problem. He said the dog is a mix of terrier and Vizla hound and they live to dig. He will try to keep her in. I hope so.
