I am preparing for a celebration for Michael's family at 2:00 p.m today. He is still in bed and I have been running for hours. I'll wake him up when the guests arrive. Tomorrow I will be hosting a big dinner for my entire family. Had to shop again today as people added to the guest list. Argh. 'Tis the only time when it would be better being a man. I'll get through it. I always do. Happy holidays.

Ran out to Queen Creek this morning. LONG drive. 42 mintues there, 37 back.

Got 10 W/BW Ameraucanas. I'm going to try and put a few under Blucy my 2nd broody Icelandic.

I pray she is kind to them. She's been on the nest now for over two weeks.

Merry Christmas everyone. Made it to the mountains, shoveled snow for my exercise today and decorated the tree. It's supposed to snow tomorrow - it will be my first white Christmas.

That is not the case at my house! I am in charge of the shopping, cooking and much of the cleaning, so I start cooking today for tomorrow. It's gonna be great too!
