Happy New Year everyone! I was way behind on this thread since I've been trying to keep up with the NYD hatch. I set 40 Iowa Blues in my new Reptipro 6000 and pulled 2 clear at 7 days. I did a completely dry hatch and it worked great! I hatched in my old Genesis and 38 went into lock down and all 38 hatched!

I made stew last night - it was the best stew I've ever made. I modified a recipe I found, it didn't call for potatoes though, so I made focaccia bread to go with it. I actually liked it without the potatoes. The meat was super tender.

Any chance you can share the recipe?
DW doesn't always want potatoes, and after all the Holiday gatherings I could go without for a bit.

That is awesome. I have never tried a dry hatch. It sure would make thing easier...

Look at all those fluffy Butts! I think I ended up with 70ish chicks from the New Years Hatch. Plus over 20 quail..Yikes!
