Kelly, you didn't get to go? And wear your new dress? Dang!

Mary ,Kathy ,Kelly where did you get your poultry netting again ?
I need to order some For the runs I am building.
How do these hold up with pine needles and snow? Even know there is only 1 Ponderosa Pine by the coop area the winds can blow needles everywhere and there is a thick mulch of them around some spots the run is going.

QC Supply or eBay Jason. I have only had to deal with fig leaves over the top of my nets. We would just occasionally go inside and lift the net up to direct the leaves over the edge. Make sure you get the 2" holes and most things fall through and the snow shouldn't be as much of a problem. Kelly can tell you more about that though.

Nope. I wanted to go by myself but he got all snively at that thought. Even my friend that was throwing the party texted me to ditch him and the kids and come by myself. But I stayed home.

I got mine on Ebay Jason - QC Supply was too pricey for the size I needed.

This is the one I bought:

I got the 2 inch to help with the pine needles. I'm very happy with it - it is holding up well to the wind and while I have some "pine needle tinsel" hanging down from the netting, it will fall when they dry up more. I usually grab a few each time I go into the run and pull them through. Secure it in a temporary fashion first, as it stretches quite a bit after you install it. I need to pull mine tight again so it's not sagging.

The hawk has been back several times, but cannot figure out how to get the chickens.

I hear it calling out in the pines.
