Stella's Social Club

I am still in Disbelief that someone would do this... Have they hatched Emu's before? What the Hell is wrong with them. It is just so sad that these sweet little babies have to suffer because this breeder is such a Idiot..

Kathy, they are so cute. These babies are in the right hands now. I know you will give them your all. I'm sending Positive thoughts your way. Bless those babies.

please keep pictures coming...
Is there something that can be done about these people? Do they just not know and need to be educated on them? How sad...but sadder still if they keep doing this.

Thanks everybody! I took Tucker to Petco on the way home from picking him up last night. It took us an hour to get out of the store because everyone wanted to love on him. I just took him out on leash to meet the emus and goats. He wanted to walk up to the fence when the emus were so we got about 3 or four feet away from the fence. The emus were bent down to look at Tucker so they looked kind of small. They suddenly all stood up to their full height and Tucker startled and ran away backwards. It was hilarious.

He may still be in danger though when Michael gets home. He found the man cave and the flight simulator. I think he'd made a great co-pilot!

He didn't stay up there very long though. He is not really good at stairs. He goes up great but has some timidness coming back down.

He is downright adorable! He is lucky to be adopted into such a great family. Definitely a great sidekick!

Unfortunately they will, they sold this entire batch. That will encourage them to keep going. I know it's really hard-hearted to say, but sometimes the best thing is to pass up saving babies if that will cause the person to get out of the business. It doesn't help the current batch, but might save multiple future chicks from being ripped from their shells and allowed to languish.

But, what's done is done and maybe these babies will now have a chance at survival.

And... hopefully his presence will deter other dogs from coming into your yard..... as long as they can smell him and not see him.

Tucker is part terrier and I'm sure he has lots of game (for smaller things) I don'think many dogs would face off to a herd of Emus. Maybe he just needs a little muscle to back him up, like a Great Pyrenees .

SOooooo we get to look inside a man cave, I've never seen one before. Does it have a sign "NO gurls allowed !!"

This is Tucker's new dog bed on the right, chosen carefully to complement the decor of my office. That is Tucker on the left soiling the pillow on the daybed.
