I'm picturing all the poop on the couch.

Beth and Punkin have diapers; Miss Sparkle the silkie does not.... Yet. She's quite a small chicken. She lays her egg every day or two in the brooder bin and hops out. Not a broody silkie. I have to order a smaller diaper for her but haven't gotten around to it. (Little bitty poops easy to clean up with TP.)

The much bigger pullets are very pushy about wanting some of my food, that little silkie hen is very dainty but definitely watches who gets what, when... Her eyes follow my hand with the morsel and she leans over to take hers - it's gone in a flash.

As long as I stick to the snack distribution rotation (Zorro, Dooley, Lizbeth, Punkin, Beth, Sparkle... ME) all is fine.

I understand! When we eat popcorn, the dogs converge on my wife and she has to do the same thing! LOL

Sorry Kelly! Cameron wanted this plush chicken and I told him he couldn't have it because I use it in my brooder. The day before he left, I found it on his bed. He left it on the bed when he went home and Tucker obsessed over it all day yesterday. I kept telling him no. Last night we found it in the living room. Later he took it up to Michael's room then into mine at bedtime. This morning it was back downstairs. I think the boy is a chicken predator for sure!

We have a shi tzu poodle mix that obsesses over all small stuffed animals and if there's a "squeaker" in it that's the first thing she chews out of the toy!

Yah those terrier eyes are saying "Just try and take if from me!" I wouldn't fool around with him Mary - they say once they taste stuffed toys, they will always go after them. Besides it probably does look enough like a chick to him.
