Kathy I am going to ask Rob to ban you for posting the stretch pants photos! I think it would be warranted.

Big chick re-arranging at the Buck 'n Run Ranch today. The dark egg layers got their pop door back to functioning mode. I didn't want them able to go outside until they got bigger. They were out a few times today but mostly stayed in. I just have a small area fenced off for them, not the full run. Too many places to get through the fence yet.
The cream legbar chicks were moved from the big brooder in the little yellow house to the coop they will occupy as adults. The pop door was disabled and the sweeter heater was put in there, placed very low for them to scoot under.
The chicks from the brooder in the basement were moved out to the big brooder in the little yellow house. They have the large Eco-Glow and a small heat lamp for warmth. I didn't want to just rely on the Eco-Glow as we have been down to freezing every night for quite awhile.
Tracking on my dark eggs indicates they were due at their destination on the 21st. There is nothing on the tracking since the day they left. The guy said the last time he shipped eggs Priority Mail they took just over a month to arrive. He said he will re-hip if I don't get a good hatch. I doubt I will even get the eggs at this point. The shipping address may have been wrong and they are on their way back to him. He only answers emails about once a week so I can't even get ahold of him at this point. Oh well. Maybe someone is trying to tell me that I have enough chickens. Ya think?![]()
