Stella's Social Club

Ya know, I just love chewing gum. HOWEVER ....... 85% of the major brands still contain aspartame and sucralose. I was reading this article, and I found a couple brands of gum I am gonna try out... Glee Gum and Pur Gum. I checked my organic co-op list and they do carry the Glee brand. So, I have it ordered.

Just read that article.

Did you ever read about how aspartame originally got accepted? Here is one article.

Yikes- no wonder I can't stand the stuff. It has a bad "aftertaste" to me and if I consume very much (like two diet sodas) I get migraines....

So how do I get Cream Legbars!?!?!

WOW!
The UofA Blues will do the same thing. Leghorns LOL. I hatched two TJs leghorn pullets in the Fall and their second egg was 57G, just under large size!

It is why the Commercial egg laying crowd likes them so much.

Yeah, you might know a few people that have them!

The color of their eggs just makes me feel happy inside When I have some collected, I find I just keep going back and staring at them. I hatched my first chick a few days ago, boy of course. I have a fifteen "cooking" right now and I collected another three last night. Those eggs came up to size incredibly fast!

So how do I get Cream Legbars!?!?!

WOW!
I just remembered that you live in Hell!

Last summer some people had 50% of them die in the heat. They were one of the worst of mine in the heat last summer. They now live on the coast where it is cooler.

Some will tell you that they do well in the heat but there is a big difference between the occasional 100 degree day and Hell....

And the critters don't get them?  Wow.

Almost every morning I find raccoon or fox scat somewhere, usually on my driveway. (it has berries in it)  So I don't think they'd live long here without protection.

I want a goat barn!

We have a workshop that is a nonstandard size (7 ft) under the house. I turned 1/2 of it into a coop accessible by the window, and now my turkeys will sleep inside. Put IKEA all wood pantry shelves in it as roosts and it is tall enough to please them. Pumpkin will still occationaly try and go in the huge oak tree behind the house. It is a good 30 feet taller then the house.

The wild turkeys just came back into the area for spring and are living next door. They have been coming over to entice my girls and on wild hen tried to sit on stuffings eggs. Wish I had had my camera.

All these Turkeys in California are relatively new. They are wild and they do live in the high Foothills to low Mountains here.

These guys are not like the domestic ones. They love trees and have been known to roost 70 feet up in them.

Oops see above.

Oh dear. I don't need those, I don't need those.......

Everyone needs cream leg bars!

I am so glad tucker got to come home. Rufas had similar men fear issues that started to come out once he got to feel safe at the house and the honeymoon period was over. Dh got to do all the hero things. Walks, dispence all the treats sat in the prefers spot so too would sit in his lap.

Except for the rare occation it is gone now, took about 4 Months after it started. Now if I could only cure the mad barking....

I wonder if a group of wild turkeys is called a Rafter - because they roost so high.

I can tell you, they can really fly. When they all took off over my head and over the house...............I wished I had not put the camera away.

I always wonder where some of those "group of animals" names came from................like a clowder of cats or murder of crows...............Hmmmm
