I made a stink on the Ameraucana thread. If anyone reads it and agrees let em know lol. I am so tired of the mixed messages even the breeders send on the breed. Are non standard ameraucana easter eggers or non standard? There seems to be many opinions from breeders and it feeds the
hatchery fire , leads to unkowing breeders calling them ameraucana and people trying to scam.
if you read it and agree let them know.
well I am sure that is going to irritate some of them so for now .

Some guy on CL was posting his ameraucanas sexd at 1 week for 10 bucks. I told him he had ee's. He said I posted pictures not of my birds the internet says those are all ameraucanas!

So even the internet pictures are wonky! How are people supposed to check!

Mind you, I LOVE my crazy ee's. They lay huge eggies. They lay all the time and are never broodie.

Luckily for Mary, tomorrow is grocery day . I plan on getting all the good stuff, Irish soda bread, nutella, and rocky road ice cream. That should tide things over for one day.

I needed those chicks. Really. I need them. The reason I got them is to add diversity, yet keeping to the same genetic pool for my flock. Of course, most will end up in the freezer, but I hope I will have a nice pen to select from.

I love to bake, so I can bake most anything ya want.

We're having friends over for dinner Saturday and I'm making a cheesecake for dessert. Cheesecake is my favorite dessert to make, but since I'm the only one in the house that eats cheesecake, I only make it when I can get rid of it via other people. My friend loves chocolate and cheesecake, so I'm going to make a chocolate cheesecake with Godiva liqueur in it.
