Thanks for the well wishes Mary, I got so sick on Thursday I had to cancel patients and go home. I was in the middle of a bonding procedure when I had to go throw up.... (finished the procedure)

I'm still feeling icky, but this too will pass... on the positive side, I've lost 8 lbs since Wednesday. I suppose I should get sick more often... nah, I'll pass on that too!

I was going to get a few olive eggs from Kelly but her girl is "barren."

On a spur of the moment I bought a dozen from eBay and forgot about it. The postal truck just dropped off the box. One was broken but the other 11 look good. Nice color too.




I am going to need to rent some brooder space somewhere.

My hen is not barren, my rooster isn't doing his job. But in his defense, he's got 17 girls to service.

Kelly, would it violate BYC rules to ask for donations to pay for therapy for Drumstick Diva?

Yup, so she gets left untreated.

Everyone! Spring is looking like it finally decided to hang-out in Northern Illinois. Windy, but sunny, day with a high of 56 F. The next three days the high is forecast in the 40s but the rest of the ten day has 50s! Hurray for Springtime!
