Kathy, The five emu kids are adorable! It seemed like when you were leaving your place that they were hesitant. As if to say "But wait...we aren't suppose to go out of the yard!" And then they give in and follow. They do seem to love the water, I remember being surprised at that with Fred and Wilma but thought it may have been the hot summer....not so hot now and the five seemed fine with it! What a great thing you did in taking all of them!!

Frekk was still on the nest this morning. Forsaela was back on last night but off this morning when I fed. I have eggs in the incubator due the 12th and others the 19th so they have time to decide.

Kathy, did Tyson turn up? All thru the video I kept counting everyone to make sure none of the five got lost. Then Tyson disappears. I think you need a whistle for him so you don't go hoarse.

It's funny that emus love water so much, I wonder if it's because Australia has a lot of drought- and their genes are telling them to enjoy water wherever they find it. Kathy you are a true emu whisperer - you didn't even cheat by offering them edible bribes.


Mary, I see all this legal stuff is disturbing Tucker's sleep, he's out like a light. The cupcake was quite good but, so small....

Thanks for asking Ron. The ball is back in their court. We responded to their demand to return Tucker by the end of last week and haven't had a response yet. I just wish that they would give up so we could relax.
